Your small business or non-profit organization will find the direction you need with our consultants and at this web site. Our firm was established in 1990 to provide fundraising and organizational development consulting, including marketing and related public relations. Our founders have executive experience in small business. We have raised over $250 million in funds for small, non-profit organizations, many start-up businesses as well as established organizations. Our health care consultation has launched or financially stabilized large and small community health centers and human service organizations throughout New England.
One of our first clients was WGBH, the PBS flagship. Founder Dale Orlando co-produced Boston's The Big Dig series for WGBH with Arnie Reisman. We began designing and developing interactive multimedia and video applications for the web in 1996 working with WGBH and BBN Planet. Polaris has an award winning domestic violence video Sisters, Mothers, Daughters in it's credits thanks to the donated talents of Paula Lyons and Ron Gamache's music.
In 1997 Polaris expanded its focus to include video and multimedia internet marketing for growing companies throughout New England. We worked with Ron Gamache in video promotions, corporate advertising promotions and still photography provided by Ellen Shub. The company produced New England's premier travel and tourism site, New EnglandUSA.com through the work of Emily Robinson. Our marketing and development services still provide grant fund raising and executive coaching, integrated web design and SEO marketing for businesses non-profit organizations.
Along the way we have collaborated with many other small business marketing firms including Market Directions which specializes in market research and The Marketing Collaborative that excells at public relations. We have been delighted to work with Joan B. Fox Associates who produces conferences and to videotape training for corporate speaking engagements at Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq. We had fun with Liz Page Associates shooting gala events with star stage performers and with Virginia O'Brien (Success on Our Own Terms).
Over the years our focus has not changed although our business interests are broader. We remain a small company of dedicated professionals serving other small companies and non-profit organizations. The nature of our client work in health care, human services or marketing depends upon your business goals. Polaris hires the right development professionals or artists to serve your needs for each project.
